Pre Event Team Leader (Multi Sports)

Our team is growing and we are looking for a Pre Event Team Leader (Multi Sports). If you are an experienced trading professional with a deep understanding of Tennis and other racket sports, and you are ready to step up and lead a team of dedicated traders, this is the right opportunity for you. 

The position sits within the Pre Event Sports team, where you will drive the trading and risk management strategy for racket sports, ensuring your team delivers a high-caliber customized betting offer and a best-in-class user experience while hitting strategic margin targets.

• Oversee Pre Event Trading activity for Tennis and other racket sports, ensuring all guidelines, instructions, and directions are followed by team members;
• Develop the Pre Event trading and risk management strategy for your sports, in conjunction with Management, to ensure margins and targets are met;
• Assign and delegate projects and responsibilities to traders, ensuring efficient and fair workload distribution ;
• Define margin strategies  and targets to accurately forecast and drive future performance;
• Analyze sports performance and report to Trading Management;
• Evaluate traders’ performance, set developmental plans, and ensure your team has the necessary knowledge and skills to perform effectively;
• Assess the department's needs (both personnel and tools);
• Collaborate closely with other Pre Event Team Leaders to achieve cross-departmental alignment.

What you’ll bring:

• A degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a similar quantitative field is considered a strong plus;
• 5+ years of experience in Trading roles with strong knowledge of Odds Compiling Principles and Risk Management;
• Expertise and genuine passion for Tennis and other racket sports (Table Tennis, Badminton, etc.);
• Leadership qualities with the ability to mentor, evaluate, and develop a high-performing team;
• Strong business acumen and the ability to define margin strategies and targets;
• Proficiency in MS Office, G-Suite, and various betting platforms/tools ;
• Excellent interpersonal skills and strong communication in Business English (both written and verbal);
• A self-organized, highly adaptable mindset, capable of thriving in a  fast-paced, constantly evolving environment;
• Willingness to work flexible time shifts in line with the business and sports calendar requirements.
