Our team is growing and we are looking for a Junior Pre Event Trader focusing on Euro/UK Sports and Novelty markets. If you have a sharp analytical mind, a passion for sports like Volleyball, Handball, Darts, Motor Sports, and keep a close eye on Novelty events (Entertainment, Politics, etc.), this is the right opportunity to kickstart your career. 

You will join our expanding Pre Event Trading Team, where you will learn the ropes of odds compilation and risk management. The position sits within the Pre Event Sports team and contributes to our delivery of a high-caliber, customized betting offer and a best-in-class user experience for our customers.

As a Junior Pre Event Trader, you will:
  • Trade betting events for Volleyball, Handball, Darts, Futsal, Motor Sports, and Novelty markets;
  • Support the monitoring and management of respective liabilities to help mitigate risk;
  • Learn to compile odds and assist in pre-event pricing on assigned sports and events;
  • Help create and monitor betting markets to ensure optimum pre-event margins are achieved;
  • Assist in ad hoc creation and management of additional markets according to customer demand;
  • Monitor customer activity and report any findings to the Sportsbook Integrity team;
  • Consistently deliver outstanding service to internal and external stakeholders while learning departmental KPIs;
  • Adhere to departmental SLAs and liaise with different departments for sportsbook-related queries.

What you’ll bring:

  • A degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field is a strong plus;
  • A genuine passion and strong interest in Euro/UK sports (Volleyball, Handball, Darts, etc);
  • A strong data-focused mindset with the drive and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment;
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with an understanding of core statistics;
  • Sound knowledge of G-Suite programs;
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal;
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, team-player attitude;
  • Willingness to work flexible time shifts in line with the business and sports calendar requirements.
