We are looking for a Financial Reporting Analyst to join our growing Financial Reporting team in Athens. This role offers an excellent opportunity for finance professionals who want to take ownership of group reporting processes, work in a dynamic, international environment, and contribute to strengthening financial reporting and accounting efficiency within a rapidly scaling organization.
The successful candidate will play a key role in group reporting, financial analysis, and reporting improvements, while collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams and senior stakeholders across the organization.
As a Financial Reporting Analyst you will:
- Support the preparation and consolidation of the Group’s financials in accordance with IFRS on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes across multiple subsidiaries and business units, while driving improvements in reporting timelines and quality.
- Act as a key stakeholder for designated group reporting areas, partnering with local finance teams to collect, validate, and reconcile financial data for consolidation, while providing guidance on accounting treatments and reporting standards.
- Perform analysis of financial performance and assist in the preparation of commentary for management reports.
- Support the maintenance of Group accounting policies and help ensure they are consistently applied across entities.
- Participate in automation and standardization initiatives to improve the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting.
- Assist in the development of reporting tools, dashboards, and analytics to provide better management insights.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements and internal accounting policies across all entities.
- Prepare financial statements and coordinate statutory audits, liaising with external auditors and addressing audit queries across multiple entities.
- Work closely with Group FP&A, Group Tax, and other teams to provide necessary data and support high-quality financial insights.
- Support senior stakeholders with financial analysis and reporting required for strategic decision-making.
What you will bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Qualified or actively studying towards an ACA / ACCA or equivalent professional certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a Big4 audit environment.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS reporting standards.
- Familiarity with automation tools (e.g. Alteryx) or BI platforms (e.g., Power BI) will be considered a strong advantage.
- Highly analytical, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- A proactive mindset, with a passion for continuous improvement, automation, and working in cross-functional teams.
