Let’s start with the role:

The HR Operations Manager Brazil will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day HR operations in Brazil, ensuring smooth and efficient processes across payroll, employee relations, occupational health, benefits administration, and vendor management. This role requires a deep understanding of Brazilian labor laws, union relations, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to maintain compliance and drive HR operational excellence.

As a Head of HR Operations, you will:

  • Payroll Management: Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing, including salary, bonuses, overtime, and deductions, in accordance with local labor regulations. 
  • Union Relations: Lead all aspects of union negotiations, Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs), and manage employee relations to ensure compliance with labor laws and best practices. 
  • Occupational Health Leadership: Partner with health providers and internal teams to manage occupational health programs, including compliance with local health and safety regulations. 
  • Vendor and Benefits Management: Manage relationships with vendors related to employee benefits (e.g., health insurance, life insurance, pension plans), ensuring contract compliance and service quality. 
  • HRIS Management: Maintain and optimize HR systems to ensure accurate data management, reporting, and analysis. 
  • Compliance Management: Ensure all HR operations adhere to Brazilian labor laws, including employment contracts, employee records, and internal policies. 
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve HR processes to enhance efficiency, compliance, and employee satisfaction. 
  • Employee Relations Management: Act as a point of contact for employee queries related to HR policies, payroll, benefits, and other operational matters. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with HR Business Partners, Finance, and Legal to align HR operations with the overall business strategy.

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience: extensive experience in HR Operations with significant expertise in payroll processes and vendor management. 
  • Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 
  • People Management Experience: Previous experience leading an HR Operations team, including managing vendors and payroll staff.
  • Preferably experience in a multinational company, with a strong focus on HR operations, labor relations, and compliance in Brazil.
