Let’s start with the role:
As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the company’s vehicle fleet, ensuring efficient operations, managing leasing and maintenance, controlling costs, coordinating with suppliers, and coordinating with suppliers. You will also ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements while addressing employee needs and promptly resolving any issues.
- Oversee the management of the company’s fleet, including vehicle procurement, leasing agreements, and maintenance coordination;
- Monitor fleet performance, fuel / energy consumption, and maintenance schedules to optimize operational efficiency and reduce costs;
- Negotiate contracts with leasing companies & vehicle suppliers;
- Manage vehicle orders, licenses, and annual inspections to ensure compliance with local regulations;
- Implement and maintain fleet management software for tracking and reporting purposes;
- Any other business assigned (AOB) by the line manager
- Develop and enforce fleet policies, including driver safety programs and cost control measures.
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field;
- At least 5 years of proven experience in fleet management;
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-management skills;
- Proficiency in fleet management software, as well as MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
- Analytical mindset with a focus on cost efficiency, quality and process improvement;
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
- Knowledge of fleet best practices, contract management, and fleet operations;
- Very good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
