Let’s start with the role

As a Compliance Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our compliance initiatives. Your primary focus will be to coordinate projects, manage licenses, map processes, oversee terms and conditions, update policies, and conduct training programs. You will also be responsible for due diligence and ensuring our corporate governance processes adhere to internal and external standards.

As a Compliance Officer, you will:
  • Project Coordination:Serve as the main contact point for communications from various departments, consolidating inputs to ensure compliance alignment.
  • License Management:Oversee the renewal process of licenses and support business continuity projects by providing necessary corporate documentation. Align compliance priorities with Product team reports.
  • Process Mapping:Map out departmental processes and workflows for new product offerings, sharing insights with relevant teams to ensure smooth implementation and compliance.
  • Terms & Conditions Management:Manage and update Terms & Conditions, ensuring they are clear, accurate, and compliant with regulatory standards.
  • Policy Management:Draft and update corporate policies and procedures to comply with current laws and regulations. Maintain records in Confluence and track employee acceptance of policies.
  • Training and Education:Develop and deliver tailored training programs on compliance matters for employees in Brazil.
  • Due Diligence:Respond to due diligence requests from third parties for local entities and the group. Conduct due diligence on third-party providers and corporate governance processes, maintaining up-to-date corporate documentation and coordinating necessary approvals for corporate changes. Participate in audits to ensure governance standards are upheld.

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field     
  • Strong understanding of compliance regulations and best practices;
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills;
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams;
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills;
  • Proficiency in using compliance management tools and software;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • A tech orientation and passion for innovation and the industry are a strong plus;
  • Fluency in English.
