Analytics Engineer

Let's start with the role

As an Analytics Engineer at Kaizen Gaming, you’ll be at the heart of our data-driven initiatives,  working on the silver and gold layers of our medallion architecture. Your role is integral in enhancing our four core elements: discoverability, security, quality, and observability of data.

As an Analytics Engineer, you will:

• Innovate and improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes by automating or simplifying self-service modeling and enhancing production support for our internal customers.
• Translate complex business and functional requirements into scalable, operational solutions that meet our high standards.
• Adopt best practices in data modeling, ensuring data integrity, creating resilient test designs and developing comprehensive documentation.
• Develop and oversee efficient data transformation pipelines, utilizing ETL/ELT processes.

What you’ll bring:

• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in writing complex, optimized SQL code for data manipulation and reporting.
• At least 3 years of experience in ETL/ELT and Reporting tools.
• Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
• A continuous improvement mindset, with high attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Financial reporting & reconciliation experience would be a plus.
• Data Modeling, Data Warehouse Architecture experience would be a plus.
• Exposure to Azure Services and Databricks would be a plus.
