Let’s start with the role

As a Network Reliability Engineer in the Networks team, you will manage and maintain our company’s network infrastructure. You will work directly with internal stakeholders, external suppliers/providers, and product engineering teams. Together with the team, you will be responsible for translating business needs into technical solutions and implementing them.

We are seeking a passionate and self-motivated Network Reliability Engineer, specialized in Cisco Security Technologies, who will have the opportunity to design and implement new technologies and enhance the existing ones. Sharing ideas and evolving in a dynamic and diverse Cisco-based network environment—already spanning within sixteen countries and continuously expanding—will be part of your everyday experience!

As a Network Reliability Engineer, you will:
  • Maintain network availability by identifying and resolving any issues that impair connectivity;
  • Collaborate with network Engineers to design and implement functional company networks, both on-prem and in Cloud environments;
  • Install and configure network equipment (switches, routers, firewalls);
  • Manage the company’s Wireless Network;
  • Design, implement, and maintain Cisco security solutions, including firewalls (ASA, Firepower), VPNs, intrusion prevention systems (IPS);
  • Configure and manage VPN remote access infrastructure for users;
  • Configure and manage Cisco Security devices and software, ensuring optimal performance and security;
  • Implement and manage Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE);
  • Implement and manage Cisco Secure Access Solution and ZTNA;
  • Create and implement network security measures;
  • Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation;
  • Conduct regular network performance tests;
  • Handle escalated network support issues.

What you'll bring 

  • Strong experience in Cisco-based network environments;
  • Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, Firewalls and VPN technologies;
  • Well-acquainted with Cisco Network devices and appliances (Nexus, Catalyst, IOS, Meraki, etc.);
  • Well-acquainted with Cisco Security solutions and appliances (FMC, ISE, Secure Access, Cisco Umbrella, FTD etc);
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure);
  • Experience with Network Access Control (NAC) solutions; 
  • Experience in network monitoring tools;
  • Ability to perform duties in a very fast-paced environment and quickly adapt to new technologies; 
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment with agility.

Nice to Have

  • CCNP Enterprise or Security certification will be considered a plus;
  • Knowledge of coding languages like Ansible and Python for automating network processes;
  • Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
