Let’s start with the role
As a Digital Analytics Specialist, you will utilize various analytical tools and techniques to track user behavior across digital platforms. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will analyze data trends and patterns to support strategic decision-making. Ultimately, you'll ensure the quality of data, implementing new solutions and expanding data collection points.
As a Digital Analytics Specialist you will:
- Work with product and tech teams to implement site tracking solutions for data collection and set up measurement tags using both client and server-side Google Tag Manager;
- Monitor site tracking solutions to ensure tracking is correctly configured and data is being collected and distributed across all marketing platforms;
- Analyse online user behavior and customer journeys to deliver actionable insights;
- Monitor and analyze site KPIs and trends to review performance and ensure data accuracy;
- Create and maintain automated reports and dashboards;
- Manage and execute requests from agencies, stakeholders, performance and product teams;
- Execute Google Analytics and Tag Manager implementations and account configurations based on unique data needs and business requirements;;
- Audit and/or troubleshoot existing implementations to ensure data quality
- Conduct website “deep dives” and on-demand analysis for stakeholders, specifically around Google Analytics and marketing campaign performance
- Present and effectively communicate data and insights to stakeholders;
- Collaborate with colleagues and partners to provide support relating to queries and training in the digital analytics space;
- Add value to the optimization of player experience and marketing performance through MarTech and digital analytics.
What you’ll bring
- At least 1 year of experience with Google Analytics and/or other web data platforms, Firebase Analytics and Google Tag Manager;
- Familiarity and experience with Google Analytics 4;
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript;
- Experience with Big Query, SQL and regex, as well as A/B Testing Tools is a plus;
- An understanding of SEO, Paid Search, Paid Social and/or other performance marketing/digital marketing practices;
- Experience of using Looker Studio;
- Excellent communication skills in English;
- Proficiency with Google Suite;
- Strong interest in web analytics and statistical methodologies;
- Self-motivated and eager to stay up to date with marketing technological developments;
- Strong problem-solving skills.
