Let’s start with the role:

Betano Romania is looking for a talented Social Media & Content Manager who can take ownership of the presence of the Betano brand in different Social Media platforms. The expectations from the role are to manage and grow social media channels, ensuring a consistent brand voice and high engagement while leading a team of content creators and fostering collaboration and innovation.

This role is perfect for someone who loves and understands the dynamics of online betting and knows how to turn insights into impactful content. The candidate should have proven experience in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing and who own a set of leadership skills set to manage and inspire a team.

As a Social Media & Content Manager, you will:
  • Develop and execute content and social media strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives and marketing goals, working closely with a creative agency to maintain Betano’s brand presence across different media channels; 
  • Manage the content and social media calendar, ensuring timely publication of the  content in the right format across different platforms, including the company's website, blog, social media, and other channels;
  • Manage a team of social media and content specialists, ensuring that channel KPIs are met. Oversee the briefing and execution of complex social media campaigns across various platforms (such as Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, and YouTube) to build brand awareness, drive traffic, and generate engagement. This includes creating and scheduling social media content, monitoring engagement and conversations, and analyzing social media metrics;
  • Continuously innovate and develop new strategies to enhance brand awareness;
  • Plan and conduct market and competitor analysis;
  • Use analytics tools to track and measure the performance of content and social media campaigns across different channels. Report on key metrics such as traffic, engagement, and conversions. Use data to optimize the content and social media strategy and improve performance over time. Generate monthly reports evaluating content and social media performance ;
  • Collaborate with the creative agency to deliver assets for content and social media needs, including complex digital campaigns; 
  • Lead and facilitate partnerships with external stakeholders, such as agencies, influencers, and brand ambassadors. Manage and further develop the collaboration across partner social media channels;
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure content and social media marketing programs are innovative and effective.

What you’ll bring:

  • 4 years of experience as a social media manager in roles involving team management and complex digital marketing campaigns; 
  • A degree in marketing or digital marketing is preferred;
  • Experience in briefing and implementing complex, KPI-driven digital social media campaigns tailored per channel; 
  • Experience in integrating influencer marketing into digital campaigns; 
  • Experience in managing teams and working cross-functionally with other departments and partners; 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong background in digital content marketing; 
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
