Let’s start with the role:

We are looking for a Senior HR Payroll and Operations Specialist to join our team and ensure smooth and compliant payroll processing, HR administration, and employee lifecycle management. This role will oversee payroll accuracy, compliance with local labor laws, and efficient HR operations to support regional teams and our growing organization.

As a Senior HR Payroll and Operations Specialist you will:
 

Payroll Management & Compliance:

  • Process and administer monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness;
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with tax, labor, and social security regulations;
  • Collaborate with finance and external payroll providers for accurate reporting and reconciliations;
  • Handle payroll-related queries and resolve discrepancies.

HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle Management:

  • Manage HR administration, including employment contracts, benefits, and policies;
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless employee experience;
  • Maintain and update employee records in HR systems;
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, GDPR, and internal policies.

Compensation, Benefits & Reporting:

  • Process salary changes, bonuses, and benefits in line with company policies;
  • Provide HR and payroll reports for management and auditors;
  • Support compensation, benefits and wellbeing initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction.

What you’ll bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in HR operations, payroll & employee experience;
  • Sufficient knowledge of labor laws and tax regulations;
  • Experience with managing HRIS & shift management;
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail;
  • Strong communication skills in English & Bulgarian;
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
