Let’s start with the role
The Training Manager reports to the Sr. Operations Manager and is responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of training programs across operations, both internally and externally. S/He will ensure operational excellence by equipping staff with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively. This role involves collaborating with various departments to identify training needs, creating a structured training strategy, and ensuring compliance with gambling regulations and company policies.
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive training programs that align with business objectives and enhance operational performance.
- Identify key areas for staff development across operations (casino, betting, online gaming, customer service, etc.).
- Maintain up-to-date training records and certifications, ensuring compliance with regulatory training requirements.
- Develop training manuals, e-learning modules, instructional guides, and other resources to support learning.
- Provide regular reports on training effectiveness, employee progression, and compliance to senior management.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and operational performance metrics.
What you will bring:
- Strong experience in a training role, preferably within the gambling, betting, or gaming industry.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and modern training methods (e-learning, blended learning, etc.).
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills to assess training needs and measure training effectiveness.
- Attention to detail and ability to run, review, interpret, and analyze data from various sources.
- Familiarity with customer journey processes.
- Experience owning, managing, and updating a knowledge management process.
- Excellent writing, communication, and teaching skills.
- Availability to travel.
- Experience in managing remote teams.
- Fluency in English.
