Let’s start with the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Operations & Payroll Specialist to join our team in the Philippines. This role will be responsible for managing payroll processes, ensuring compliance with local labor laws, and supporting operational functions to drive efficiency and accuracy in HR and finance-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll processing, excellent problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for detail.

As an Operations & Payroll Specialist you will:
 
Payroll Management:
  • Process payroll accurately and timely for all employees, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and tax regulations.
  • Maintain and update payroll records, including employee salaries, benefits, and deductions.
  • Address payroll-related queries from employees and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with finance and HR teams to ensure payroll accuracy and proper documentation.
  • Prepare and submit necessary reports to government agencies as required.
Operations Support:
  • Assist in the implementation of company policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Support HR in onboarding, employee records management, and benefits administration.
  • Collaborate with different departments to streamline processes and improve overall workflow.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, company policies, and industry best practices.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as contract preparation, document filing, and vendor coordination.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in payroll processing and operations, preferably in a multinational setting.
  • Strong understanding of Philippine labor laws, payroll regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
  • High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with HRIS system is a plus.
  • Fluency in English.
