Let’s Start with the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR Operations Assistant to support the daily operations of our HR department. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth execution of HR processes, accurate data management, and timely administrative support. The ideal candidate is organized, process-driven, and capable of maintaining confidentiality and efficiency in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal and legal standards;
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including document collection and system setup, while collaborating with external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate execution of HR processes;
- Assist in administering employee benefits, managing leave requests, and overseeing time tracking;
- Support with payroll and finance with monthly payroll processing and employee data changes;
- Prepare and verify HR-related documents (employment contracts, addendums, employment certificates, etc);
- Respond to employee HR-related requests, including issuing employment certificates;
- Assist in the preparation of HR reports, metrics, and compliance audits;
- Help ensure HR policies and procedures are consistently applied and maintained across the organization;
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team as needed.
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Legal, or a related field (or equivalent experience);
- 1–2 years of experience in HR administration or HR operations;
- Strong communicator in English and Romanian with excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with all business contacts;
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel);
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills;
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism;
- Ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
