Let's start with the role

As an Organic Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for leading, optimizing, and scaling Betano’s global organic social media strategy. You will handle the LATAM markets where Betano is operating. Sitting within the HQ Marketing team, you will oversee a multi-tiered content framework, empower local markets, and ensure the brand’s voice is consistently represented across platforms. You will report directly to the Head of Marketing Operations and Organic Social.

As an Organic Social Media Manager you will:
  • Develop and execute Betano’s organic social media strategy, aligned with our global content framework.
  • Lead the rollout of global campaigns and activations, while enabling local teams to adapt and localize content effectively.
  • Collaborate with the creative department, sponsorships, and local market teams to ensure consistent and premium content delivery.
  • Monitor social media performance using listening and analytics tools, translating insights into optimization opportunities.
  • Stay ahead of platform trends and audience behaviors to drive innovation and community growth.
  • Implement and maintain a centralized content calendar, planning process, and approval workflow across regions.
  • Support local markets with toolkits, playbooks, and training materials for content creation and community engagement.
  • Explore and manage creator and influencer collaborations tied to sponsorships or cultural moments.
  • Evaluate and onboard social and AI-powered tools that enhance content creation, planning, and reporting.

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in social media management roles, ideally across global or multi-market brands.
  • Deep understanding of platform-specific best practices (Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, etc.) and content formats.
  • Experience with social media listening and performance tools (e.g., Sprout, Brandwatch, or similar).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Spanish is a strong asset, and additional languages are a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects, collaborate cross-functionally, and influence without direct authority.
  • Experience enabling local markets and working within regulated industries (e.g., gaming, sports, entertainment) is a plus.
  • People management and stakeholder engagement experience is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered content creation tools is a nice-to-have.
