Let’s start with the role

In this role, you will act as the HR Manager for Regional Operations for all people-related topics across four markets. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring a productive, compliant, and engaging workplace culture aligned with our mission and business objectives. 

Reporting directly to the Head of HR International, you will manage day-to-day HR operations, lead a small HR team, and serve as the trusted HR advisor for employees and managers alike.

As an HR Manager, you will:
 

Ensure Exceptional Employee Experience

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for all employees across the supported markets, providing guidance on local labor law, policies, and procedures.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with employees and leaders, fostering a culture of trust, transparency, and engagement.
  • Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and transitions.
  • Ensure the accurate preparation, maintenance, and safekeeping of all employment contracts and personal records in compliance with local legislation.

Drive Efficient HR Operations

  • Oversee and maintain the integrity of all HR systems and data (HRIS, Jira, Confluence), ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
  • Guarantee the consistent application of global and local HR policies, processes, and documentation across all supported markets.
  • Partner closely with Payroll and Finance teams to ensure smooth processing of employee data, compensation changes, and compliance with local tax and labor requirements.
  • Continuously identify and implement opportunities to streamline HR processes and improve operational efficiency.

 Deliver Strategic HR Projects

  • Support the implementation and localization of the global HR strategy, ensuring alignment with local market needs.
  • Lead or participate in HR projects and initiatives, such as performance management, compensation reviews, employee engagement programs, and HR digitalization.
  • Provide consultation and support to local leadership teams on people-related matters, including talent management, organizational design, and employee relations.
  • Collaborate with the recruitment team on hiring strategies and employer branding initiatives to attract top talent locally.

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 7+ years of hands-on working experience in HR operations and at least 2 years of experience in people management roles.
  • Strong knowledge of local labor laws and HR best practices in at least one of the supported markets.
  • Experience managing a small team and collaborating cross-functionally with international HR counterparts.
  • Proficiency in HR systems (e.g., HRIS, Jira, Confluence) and the MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer-service orientation.

  • Fluency in English; additional languages relevant to supported markets are a plus.
