Let's start with the role
The Know Your Customer (KYC) Department is an integral part of our Client Operations Division. As a KYC Agent, you will play a crucial role in verifying and authenticating the identities of clients to mitigate risks related to fraud, money laundering, and other illicit activities. Your work will involve carefully reviewing and validating customer-provided documentation, conducting thorough background assessments, and ensuring full compliance with all regulatory and internal requirements.
- Collect and analyze key information in accordance with the regulations of the competent auditing authorities;
- Assist customers with the KYC process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience;
- Approve withdrawal requests concerning document verification;
- Review and enhance previous data entries for accuracy;
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues related to customer identification or withdrawal;
- Work closely with team/shift leader and colleagues across various departments;
- Handle and share sensitive information appropriately and confidentially;
- Ensure compliance with AML (Anti-Money Laundering) laws and regulations;
- Identify and address potential fraud alerts promptly and effectively;
- Maintain and update the customer database with precision and care.
What you'll bring:
- Observation and attention to detail;
- A customer-centric mindset with a focus on service orientation;
- MS Office / Google Suite skills;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English;
- Prior experience in a back-office role (preferred but not required);
- Strong critical thinking abilities and exceptional research skills;
- Availability to work in shifts, including nights and weekends.
