Let’s start with the role

The Market Research Specialist will be a key member in supporting market research initiatives to provide valuable insights that drive strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate should have a passion for uncovering insights, be highly motivated and detail-oriented, and possess excellent analytical skills. As a key member of the HQ marketing team, the role will work closely with the Market Research Manager and cross-functional teams, and be responsible for designing, coordinating, and conducting research projects and collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities.

As a Market Research Specialist, you will:
  • Assist in the design and implementation of projects for existing and new markets;
  • Conduct primary and secondary market research to gather relevant data and information;
  • Prepare comprehensive reports showing findings in a clear, concise way for key stakeholders.
  • Maintain and organize research databases and libraries;
  • Oversee internal processes and act as a facilitator eg. for contracts, POs, invoicing, etc;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support marketing activities and business objectives;
  • Interact with market research partners, reassuring quality control on deliverables, calendar accuracy, and effective cooperation;
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments;
  • Stay updated on emerging market research tools, techniques, and best practices, to enhance research capabilities and effectiveness.

What you will bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, Human Sciences, or a related field; 
  • Proven experience of at least 2 years of experience in market research and consumer insights, preferably within a multinational company (not necessarily related to the industry);
  • Excellent knowledge of market research principles, techniques, and best practices and experience and strong understanding of research methods, including survey design, sampling, data analysis, and statistical methods;
  • Experience with primary and secondary research, including both qualitative and quantitative, and online research;
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality;
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work both independently, and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment;
  • Analytical and organizational skills, a can-do attitude, and the ability to manage multiple projects and markets simultaneously while meeting deadlines;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and excellent command of the English language;
  • Excellent command of Google Workspace.
