The role

As a UX Researcher (Insights, Analytics & User Feedback) at Kaizen Gaming, you will play a pivotal role in shaping product direction by delivering deep user understanding, grounded in research, behavioral data, and structured user feedback.

You will lead end-to-end research initiatives and act as a steward of user knowledge, ensuring that insights, feedback, and learnings are captured, respected, and made accessible across the organization. Your work will directly inform product strategy, prioritization, and experience improvements across our platforms.

You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, Designers, Engineers, and BI, ensuring that decisions throughout the product lifecycle are rooted in trusted user evidence and meaningful metrics.

 

What you’ll be doing

  • Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative research (user interviews, surveys, usability testing, concept validation) to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points across products and journeys.
  • Collect, analyze, and synthesize ongoing user feedback from multiple sources (research activities, product feedback, internal inputs), ensuring insights are interpreted with proper context and respect for participants.
  • Maintain and evolve research and user feedback repositories as a trusted source of truth, ensuring insights are well-documented, searchable, accessible, and not taken out of context.
  • Define standards for documentation, tagging, synthesis, and sharing of research and feedback, enabling reuse of insights over time and across teams.
  • Combine research findings, user feedback, and behavioral/product data to deliver holistic, actionable insights.
  • Connect user journeys with business and product outcomes, identifying friction points and opportunities for experience improvement.
  • Define and monitor UX- and product-related metrics to assess experience quality and impact.
  • Work closely with Product, Design and BI to interpret user behavior at scale using tools such as Fullstory and internal analytics platforms.
  • Contribute to dashboards, reports, and visualizations that support informed decision-making.
  • Translate insights into clear, thoughtful narratives that influence product and design decisions.
  • Act as a customer advocate, ensuring user perspectives are represented responsibly and consistently across teams.
  • Support the evolution of UX research practices, feedback loops, and knowledge-sharing processes, promoting evidence-based decision-making across the organization.

What you’ll bring

  • 3–6+ years of experience in UX Research, Product Research, or a related insights role, working across discovery, delivery, and post-launch phases.
  • Strong end-to-end qualitative and quantitative research skills, with the ability to turn findings into clear, actionable product and UX recommendations.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and synthesizing continuous user feedback in a structured and respectful way.
  • Experience creating, maintaining, or contributing to research and feedback repositories, with attention to clarity, accessibility, and responsible usage of insights.
  • Comfort working with product analytics, behavioral data, and UX metrics, and collaborating closely with Product Analysts and BI partners.
  • Familiarity with tools such as GA4, dashboards, and data visualization platforms; SQL or data-querying skills are a plus.
  • Strong storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decisions through balanced, evidence-backed insights.
  • A customer-centric, analytical mindset, with respect for user voices, contributors, and long-term knowledge building.
  • Confidence operating in fast-paced, cross-functional, Agile environments, balancing rigor with pragmatism.

 

Nice to have

  • Experience in Gaming/ Betting, or high-traffic consumer platforms.
  • Familiarity with Fullstory, Microsoft BI, or similar BI tools.
  • Experience establishing or scaling research repositories or feedback systems.
